Jason’s Review of Hubie Halloween 2020 ★★★★

 This is a very silly and very imperfect movie and a lot of jokes fall flat, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself anyway. Lots of heart, lots of big laughs (in between the airballs), and great Halloweeny, witchy small-town Salem vibes, much like ELVIRA: MISTRESS OF THE DARK or HOCUS POCUS or THE MIDNIGHT HOUR.

 Awesome seasonal production design and sets, too! Definitely can see myself returning to this every other year or so at this time, like visiting a sometimes-annoying but still beloved old friend.
