Holy crap, that was nothing short of exhilarating.
Truly an antidote to the weightless, CGI-laden bullshit that has clogged multiplexes for years. No same-old-same-old wheel-spinning superhero bullshit. No dinosaurs. No talking animals. Real action, real stunts, real locations, real people, real heart, real emotion. Really fucking good. Also, as a lifelong Labyrinth fan, the sheer poetry of having Jennifer Connelly appear onscreen at the same exact moment as a classic David Bowie song begins playing in the background. 👏
