Boss Level stars Frank Grillo as Roy, a person who wakes up everyday with people trying to kill him and he doesn't know why. Everyday he wakes up to a person in his house with a Machete who tries to cut his head off, a helicopter with people inside shooting at him and then a host of various assassins trying to kill him outside at random locations. He isn't sure why they are trying to kill him but he eventually dies everyday and then wakes up again to repeat the day over again. Think Groundhog's Day, Happy Death Day, Palm Springs, etc. The film also stars Naomi Watts as his ex-wife and mother of his child, and his ex-wife may have something do to with what is happening to him but he always dies before figuring out why. Mel Gibson also co-stars as Watts' boss in the film.
Although this film isn't quite as good as the previous time-loop films mentioned above, it is still a very fun and action-packed ride. There is lots of violence, including gun play, bomb explosions and martial arts and the first 2/3rd are very, very good. My only slight issue is that I felt the ending was kind of a let down, but overall still a very solid flick.
