I love Army of the Dead, I love this character, I love heist films, and Matthias Schweighöfer is pretty new to me but I really like the guy. Army of Thieves may not be a great movie, but for a hastily-produced spinoff it’s a lot better than it could have been, and it’s got just enough unique touches to make it worth checking out.
