Showed my Mom this time, as we share many of the same memories of this time period and of me at that age! Not just Nintendo but that corningware! That very same humidifier!!! It was a rare weekday visit home and we made a brand new holiday memory as a result! 😎🎄
As for the movie itself, there are some definite dry patches in the middle, the “action” stuff and especially the anachronistic “video game violence protests” are weak sauce. But I love the opening and closing stretches of this so much, and we were both 😢 at end, which is exactly how it was supposed to be!
