Jason's Review of Jurassic World Dominion 2022 ★★½

…and starring Campbell Scott as Evil Anderson Cooper!

All the 0.5 and 1 star reviews seem a bit hyperbolic to me. Seeing Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum again is worth 1 star all by itself IMO, and some of the effects (including some practical thankfully) and action scenes (particularly in the second half) are pretty good.

But it’s dumb and mediocre, no doubt. A shame that they squandered the opportunity of bringing back the original characters for such a lackluster story. Locusts? Lame. But I’ve seen much worse in this franchise alone (I’d rather watch this than The Lost World, that’s for sure).
