I dunno, I enjoyed this as a 1 hour and 44 minute genre movie, with blessedly few pretensions. Not every film based on a comic book has to be a 2 and a half hour cardboard Marvel epic. This was how they used to be in the ‘90s (Blade, Spawn, Batman Forever) and I kinda dug that. Also, I like Jared Leto. That alone seems to be enough of a strike against for a lot of people, but not me. I like him and he’s perfect for this part. I had fun with this!
