No apology needed because this movie is really good!
An extremely solid and self-contained Christmas Eve thriller taking place entirely in one night at a secluded home during a snowstorm, The Apology stars Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad) and Linus Roache (Mandy) as two people with a lot of history who haven’t seen each other in a long time and the reunion…is tense. For starters.
It’s a good and suspenseful thriller that throws more than a few curveballs at the viewer, considering the seemingly limited number of ways that things can go. It’s also an incredible acting showcase, for Gunn in particular who is magnificent.
And as an added bonus, we have (one of my favorite humans) Janeane Garofalo in a movie again!!! Three stars for that alone!!
