Driveways is a very basic film about an Asian mother and her son, who are tasked will cleaning out her recently deceased sister's house in order to sell the house. The house was basically thrashed with old food, and trash and dead animals everywhere. The young boy also ends up befriending the older neighbor next door placed by Brian Dennehy (who recently passed away this year). This film was a little too simple for me. The acting is good, and the story is fine but I just wish there was a little more to the story to make it a little more interesting. Not a bad film but not really enough there either in my opinion.
