Kierre’s Review of #Alive 2020 ★★★★

#Alive 2020 ★★★★

Watched Oct 03, 2020

#Alive is a Korean film (Foreign Language), about a young man who is in his apartment during a virus outbreak when people start turning into flesh eating monsters (Basically Zombies). He watches this all unfold outside his window and inside his Apartment Building, as people are being attacked and turned into Zombies. The aftermath leaves nothing but these Zombies roaming the streets and all inside the Apartment Building and he knows he is now stuck inside his apartment with limited food, limited water and his other power resources are soon being shut off. All he can do is post to Social Media try to stay "#Alive".

This was a really good film. I know Zombie purists will argue these are not technically Zombies but they are the same type you will find in films such as Train to Busan, 28 Days Later, or World War Z. They are fast moving Zombies that can think, and do skills like open doors and climb up buildings. Which in my opinion, make them even more terrifying!

I really enjoyed this film and although I am sort of burnt out on Zombie Films/Shows, in general, this one was really really good. One of the best films I've seen so far this year. I highly Recommend!
