Birds of Prey (title too long), is a wacky film, mostly about Harley Quinn and to a much lesser degree a few other badass women! Quinn, having recently broken up with The Joker, is now free and alone but with her newfound freedom is also a target from all the people she has wronged while under The Joker's protection. Birds of Prey is an completely over the top action/comedy. Robbie is great as Quinn but I was also really impressed with the other leading women in the film, including Rose Perez as Detective Renee Montoya, (who needs to seriously be in more films again), Mary Elizabeth Winstead as an Assassin named Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as singer named Black Canary, and Ella Jay Basco as a professional Pickpocket named Cassandra Cain . The main Antagonist is Ewen McGregor as Roman Sionis or Black Mask. The plot without overly simplifying it, is basically about a diamond that Black Mask has stolen from Cassandra Cain with all of the women also looking for the girl and/or the diamond. I really enjoyed it. It was fun and funny with some cool action. Quinn's voice (slight critique) did annoy me just a bit, but overall I really enjoyed her character as well. I'd also really love to see a spin off film sans Harley Quinn with just the other ladies however, as I feel they were all very cool and interesting and would love to see just a Birds of Prey film.
