"A Real Crowd-Pleaser!"
Creed III once again stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed (the son of Apollo Creed from the Rocky Series). In this film, Adonis having won serval fights and defended his belt several times, has decided to retire and becomes a Boxing Coach/Promoter. He also wants to spend more time with his wife and daughter who was born deaf. While training one of his prized fighters he runs into an old friend and former Golden Gloves Champ named Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors). Damian has spent the last 18 years in prison but has goals to get back into boxing and wants a title shot. Friends become enemies and Adonis and Damian are on a collision course to fight each other! The film co-stars, Tessa Thompson, and Phylicia Rashad, but also include several cameos appearances.
I really enjoyed this film and it is a real crowd-pleaser. Reminds me a little of Rocky II or even Rocky III. The storyline is interesting, and the acting and action scenes are great as well. The final boxing match looks so real and will have your heart pumping the entire time. This is a film that I strongly recommend, especially for die-hard boxing fans!
