Kierre’s Review of Spree 2020 ★★★
Spree stars Joe Keery (Steve from Stranger Things), as Vlogger who has been trying to get famous for over a decade but his videos and uploads generally rarely get more than double-digit views. In his quest for fame, he decides to start driving for Spree (basically an Uber service) and kills people on camera in order to get more views and go viral.
I enjoyed probably the first 2/3rds of this film as it is funny and shows some of the lengths that people will to just to become famous on Social Media. I thought Joe was great in the lead role as Kurt's from Kurt's World. It was very funny for the most part but sort of lost me a bit in the last act. Overall still a pretty good film however.
