The Devil All the Time is a very complex story about two towns shortly after the World War set in Ohio and West Virginia. It is kind of hard film to describe as there many characters, including corrupt Preachers, Serial Killers and backwoods hillbillies. The main star is Tom Holland who has lived a very interesting life, and is in some ways always seems to have tragedy surrounding him.
I just couldn't fully get into this film. It had too many characters that I either felt were unneeded or unnecessary and it felt sort of like a watered down version of a Coen Brothers film in my opinion. There is a lot of violence but overall the story is just ok.
