#BadTrip
Bad Trip is a film similar to "Bad Grandpa" in that it is a framework of film with real life pranks set up in between the story also. The film stars Eric André as Chris, a man who upon seeing his HS crush decides to go a trip with is best friend, Bud Malone (played by Lil Rel Howery) to New York so that he can confess his love to her. Since they do not have a car, they "borrow" a car from Bud's sister, Trina (played by Tiffany Haddish) who is in jail. What they do not know is that Trina has escaped from jail and is on the hunt for both Chris and Bud for stealing her car.
As I mentioned early this is basically a prank film where the actors are in real life situation and are pranking or punking real life people in different scenarios that while are funny are also very crude. Some of the pranks include stunt like Trina breaking out of prison by sneaking off a Prison bus and trying to get the help of a man who is cleaning graffiti off a wall. She also steals a Police Car in front of about 20 real life people. The more crude stunts involve Lil Rel and Eric Andre' who do things like accidently having their privates parts stuck together and trying to get real people to help separate them.
There are some very entertaining and funny moments in this film but there are also some very cringe-worthy moments that can make it hard to laugh in many situations in this film also. While I did enjoy it, I will be the first to say, that this film is not for everyone and definitely not for children.
