Don't Look Up is a Satirical Comedy staring Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio as Scientist who discover that a large comet is headed straight for Earth, and if it make impact it will destroy the entire planet. This film has an all star cast that includes, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ron Perlman, Ariana Grande, Melanie Lynskey, and Michael Chiklis.
What a cast, what a mediocre film! It isn't a bad film but it is pretty forgettable. There are some laughs here and there but overall I expected a little more given all the star power in this film. Most of the film is about Lawrence's and DiCaprio's characters trying to convince everyone that the world is coming to an end unless something is done about it. Half of the Population feels this may be the end and the other half feels it is all fake. The tittle of the film is for those who don't believe and are told "Don't Look Up" as you can literally see the comet if you do. I believe this film is based on a few metaphors that can be either our view of Climate Change or Covid-19 as we are all so divided on the facts.
