Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is the sequel to the 2019 film "Escape Room" about a group of strangers who find themselves in a real life escape room where if you do not get out in time, you die! In this film the two remaining survivors from the first film are on a mission to expose whoever created the game. They somehow end up on a subway train car with a couple of other passengers and the train is then derailed. They soon learn that every member on the train car is a survivor of a previous real life Escape Room, and they have all been brought together for a Tournament of Champions!
I enjoyed the first film of this series and thought this film upped the ante a bit. with bigger escape rooms and better special effects. The film has some humor, some scary moments and kept me entertained throughout. It is far from a perfect film but is a great popcorn film in my opinion.
