The Harder They Fall is a Western consisting of mostly black actors. This is a revenge film plain and simple. The film stars Jonathan Majors as Nat Love, a man who leads a crew of bandits who rob from Bank Robbers. He is also looking for revenge and tracking down a man named Rufus Black, played by Idris Elba. Rufus attacked his mother and father and left a scar on Nat's forehead back when Nat was a child. Rufus leads a group of outlaws and bank robbers who are often robbed by Nat's crew. The film also stars Regina King, Zazie Beetz, Delroy Lindo, Danielle Deadwyler, and Lakeith Stanfield.
Being a big fan of Westerns, this was right up my alley! Two sides of outlaws, on a collision course to fight each other. I loved the characters, the acting, as well as a very interesting and unique soundtrack for the film. The film was fun and had enough action to keep me entertained throughout. I strongly recommend this film.
