Black Bear 2020 ★★★
I am all for confusing mid-movie switch-ups. But I have to still be interested, entertained, and/or intrigued after said switch-up, and I just wasn’t quite enough here. I did really like the first half though, enough to push my rating just past the halfway mark. And the performances (especially Aubrey Plaza) are as good as you’ve heard.
