Happiest Season 2020 ★★★½

A sweet and endearing feel-good holiday comedy. It’s a shame that it’s still shockingly rare for a gay or lesbian couple to be the center of a mainstream movie. Beyond that (very important) distinction, HAPPIEST SEASON doesn’t do a whole lot outside of the norm. It’s pretty predictable. But sometimes you just need something easy and warm and well-made. This is all of those things, and Kristen Stewart is terrific, as always.
