The Lovebirds 2020 ★★★
As a screwball comedy with action/mystery elements, this is definitely no GAME NIGHT. You won’t be on the edge of your seat to see how the mystery turns out, trust me. But Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani are wonderful and very funny together. Their talent and chemistry is really the only thing keeping this movie in the “slightly above average” category. Them and some great jokes for AMAZING RACE fans (like me). P.S. Surely the first movie to feature CGI bacon and bacon grease?
