Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is a sequel, once again starring Daniel Craig as the famous Defective, Benoit Blanc. In this film he is invited for a vacation on a secluded island owned by a wealthy man named Miles Bron (played by Edward Norton). To get to the island Blanc must travel by boat along with people in Bron's inner circle which includes an A-List cast played by Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Madelyn Cline, and Leslie Odom Jr. Once on the island, Miles informs the guest that they are there for the weekend to play a game of solving his murder; however, things take a quick turn when someone ends up murdered for real.
I found the film to be decent. The cast is great, and the story has lots of humor, but it is not without flaws. The characters were all somewhat annoying, so you didn't care who lived or died, and there were so many twists and turns that it was difficult to determine the real killer. I also had some issue with how the killer was revealed, and the aftermath. All minor complaints, but this one wasn't as good as the first one in my opinion. Lots of stars, great cinematography, but felt empty in parts.
