Werewolf by Night is a new Marvel film streaming on Disney Plus. It is about a group of Monster Hunters who gather together after their leader has died in order to see who would now take over the reigns as the new leaser. To become the leader, they must go into the courtyard and fight and slay a Monster that has a "Bloodstone" attached to its back. Whoever comes back with the Bloodstone after slaying the monster will take over. However, each hunter can also attack each other in sort of a Battle Royale style, while hunting.
This film is quite short with just under an hour-long runtime and is quite dark and scary for a Marvel Film. There isn't much time wasted on character development and it doesn't take too long until the action begins. I actually really enjoyed this one and it was a refreshing change of pace from all of the other Marvel Films that have come out in recent years. This one was not only creepy and horrifying, but it also offered something completely new. I can't wait to see what happens next with this series and I strongly recommend this film.
